Manual Control
Manual Control lets the operator send an advance command directly from the touchscreen.
Use Manual Control if the RF remote is unavailable, if remote batteries are depleted, or if the operator needs to trigger an advance from the device.

Send an Advance Command
- Tap
Manual Controlin the bottom navigation. - Confirm the cabinet is in manual mode.
- Tap
Press to Advance Signal Phase. - Watch the signal and wait for the controller to service the command.
When the receiver accepts the command, it sends a manual advance to the cabinet. If a command was just sent, another may be briefly unavailable until the receiver is ready. If the controller is holding for pedestrian clearance, protected movement timing, preemption, or another safety interval, the visible signal change may be delayed.
Return to Wireless Control
Tap Wireless Control in the bottom navigation to return to the primary
operating screen.
Manual Control on the touchscreen does not replace cabinet manual mode. The cabinet must still be switched to manual control for the advance input to affect the traffic signal.
See How Signal Timing Works for more detail on delayed signal response.
