Update Firmware

While an Update Installs​

Keep power connected and do not turn off the device. The screen may show:

  • Starting update.
  • Percentage progress.
  • Verifying the update.
  • Applying update.
  • Restarting.

The display may restart after the update is applied.

When You Can Update​

Start updates only when the receiver is idle and traffic control is not active. If a command was just sent, wait for the receiver to be ready before starting an update.

If an Update Fails​

If the update screen shows a problem or the device does not return to normal operation:

  1. Keep the device powered.
  2. Wait at least one minute for restart or recovery.
  3. If the problem remains, record any on-screen message.
  4. Contact CommandSignal support.
