Wear OS Control
The CommandSignal Wear OS app sends Advance commands from a Wear OS watch through the paired Android phone when the CommandSignal app on the phone is connected to a PRIORITYwave device.
Requirements
- A Wear OS watch paired with the Android phone.
- The CommandSignal app installed on the phone and paired with a PRIORITYwave device.
- The CommandSignal watch app installed on the Wear OS watch.
- The phone nearby and connected to the receiver.
The watch works through the Android phone. Keep the phone nearby, connected to the receiver, and running the CommandSignal app.
Install the Watch App
The Wear OS app is a companion to the phone app and shares the same Play Store listing:
- Install the CommandSignal app on your Android phone (see Getting Started).
- The CommandSignal watch app installs automatically to the paired Wear OS watch. If it does not appear, open the Play Store on the watch, search for CommandSignal, and install it.
- Open CommandSignal from the watch's app list.
The phone app also shows a reminder to install the watch app when it detects a connected watch.
Watch Display

When the phone is connected to a receiver, the watch shows:
- Receiver battery level and signal strength.
- A large ADVANCE button.
- The time since the last advance.
The watch may show unavailable states such as:
- Pair device in CommandSignal app — no receiver is paired on the phone yet.
- Reconnecting — the phone is restoring the connection.
- Out of Range — move closer to the receiver.
- Disconnected — open the phone app and reconnect.
Send an Advance
Tap ADVANCE on the watch. The phone forwards the command to the connected receiver, and the watch shows Advance Confirmed or Advance Failed with a short haptic. In ambient (always-on) mode, wake the watch before sending an advance.
Troubleshooting Watch Control
If the watch does not show the Advance button:
- Open the CommandSignal app on the phone.
- Confirm the phone is connected to the receiver.
- Confirm the watch app is installed and the watch is paired to the phone.
- Keep the phone nearby.
- Reopen the watch app.
