Garmin Control

The CommandSignal Garmin app sends Advance commands from a supported Garmin watch through your phone when the CommandSignal app is connected to a PRIORITYwave device. The Garmin watch is authorized from the CommandSignal iPhone app.

Requirements

• A supported Garmin watch.
• Garmin Connect Mobile installed on the iPhone.
• The CommandSignal app on the iPhone, connected to a PRIORITYwave device.
• The CommandSignal app installed on the Garmin watch.

The Garmin watch works through the phone. Keep the phone nearby and connected to the receiver.

Until the watch is authorized and the phone is connected, the Garmin app shows a prompt to pair in the CommandSignal app.

Install the Watch App

Install the CommandSignal app onto your Garmin watch from the Connect IQ Store:

1. On the iPhone, open the Connect IQ Store (part of Garmin Connect Mobile).
2. Search for CommandSignal: [Connect IQ Store link TBD].
3. Install it to your Garmin watch.

The direct Connect IQ Store link will be added here at launch. Until then, search for CommandSignal in the Connect IQ Store.

Authorize the Watch (iPhone)

After the watch app is installed, authorize it from the CommandSignal iPhone app. This step uses Garmin Connect Mobile to grant watch access:

1. In the CommandSignal iPhone app, connect to your PRIORITYwave device.
2. On the Control screen, tap Connect Garmin Watch on the "Use Your Garmin Watch" card — or open Settings and tap Connect Garmin Watch in the Garmin Watch section.
3. The app opens Garmin Connect Mobile. Choose the Garmin watch you want to authorize.
4. Garmin Connect returns you to CommandSignal, and the watch is now authorized. The "Use Your Garmin Watch" card disappears once authorization is complete.

The Garmin option appears only when Garmin Connect Mobile is installed and the iPhone is connected to a receiver. There is no separate CommandSignal account sign-in — authorization is handled through Garmin Connect.

Send an Advance

Open CommandSignal from the watch's app list. When the phone is connected to a receiver, the watch shows battery and signal, an advance control, and the time since the last advance. Trigger an advance the way your watch model works:

• Touchscreen watches — tap the ADVANCE button.
• Button watches — press the Start button (the watch shows "Press Start to Advance").
• Instinct watches — press the GPS button (the watch shows "Press GPS to Advance").

The watch shows Advance Confirmed or Advance Failed, with a short haptic. If the phone is unreachable, the watch shows "Open CommandSignal on your phone."

Troubleshooting

• Confirm Garmin Connect Mobile is installed and the watch is authorized in the CommandSignal iPhone app.
• Confirm the iPhone is connected to the receiver and is nearby.
• If advances are not confirmed, reopen the watch app.
