App Settings and Notifications
Use Settings to manage notifications, screen behavior, appearance, firmware updates, experimental features, legal information, and the current connection.


Notifications
After the app reaches a connected Control screen, it may request notification permission from the phone. Allow notifications if you want the app to present device status alerts while operating.
The app can send notifications for:
- Receiver battery low.
- Receiver battery critical.
- Receiver signal weak.
- Receiver out of range.
- Receiver disconnected.
The in-app notification list also shows actionable firmware update alerts when an update is available for the connected device.
Notification Toggles
Settings includes toggles for:
Battery NotificationsRange Notifications
If system notifications are disabled for the app, these toggles are disabled. Use
Open Settings to change the system notification permission.
App Settings
Settings includes:
Keep Screen On, which helps prevent the phone display from sleeping while the Control screen is active.App Theme, with system (Match System), light, and dark appearance options.App Icon(iPhone), for choosing an alternate home-screen icon.
The Control screen also stays awake while Auto Advance is active.
Connected Device
The Device section shows:
- Device name.
- Connection state.
- Battery state.
- Firmware version.
- A firmware update link when an actionable update is available.
Experimental Features
Enable Experimental Features turns on the Auto Advance tab. Use Auto Advance
only when the operator understands the current signal timing and remains on the
Control screen.
Legal
Settings links to:
- Liability and disclaimer.
- Privacy policy.
- Terms of use.
Disconnect
Use Disconnect from Device to end the current Bluetooth session and return to
the Select a Device screen.
